AUSTIN, Texas - June 2, 2003 - Motion Computing today announced the industry's first Tablet PC to incorporate the power and wireless mobility of Intel® Centrino™ mobile technology running at 1 GHz.
Motion's newest M1300 Tablet PC model is also the company's fastest, running 8 percent faster than previous M1300's using the ultra-low-voltage 900MHz Intel Centrino processor, and up to approximately 40 percent faster than its M1200 Tablet PC.
In addition, the new model offers users Wi-Fi connectivity within companies and public spaces, and full compatibility with Motion's vast array of M-Series accessory products.
Today's announcement is the latest in a series of technology "firsts" from Motion, including first to market with slate Tablet PCs featuring a 12.1-inch display last fall, and the first 900Mhz implementation last month.

Priced from £1,495 excluding VAT, the new M1300 Tablet PC model is available from more than 70 value-added resellers (VARs) in North America and the UK. Motion VARs serve a wide range of vertical markets, including healthcare, education, financial services, government, legal, and field sales and service.
All Motion Tablet PCs feature the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition operating system, which provides state-of-the-art pen and ink capabilities as well as the flexibility to run any standard Windows application. Moreover, each system is built to customer specifications, fully tested and shipped directly to customers.
